
Michael Bennett, AIA, Dipl.-Ing.
Michael Bennett began his career in the design industry over 25 years ago in Dallas, Texas, as a project architect with Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum. As his career unfolded, he moved to Germany with HOK to fill the role of senior vice president and eventually became the director of European Services for Callison International. While working in Europe, Michael began to develop his passion for urban design and infill mixed-use projects. Michael currently serves as CEO for Bennett Benner Pettit, where he strives to instill community design ideals and proactive planning techniques into all of their projects.

J. Bruce Benner
Bruce Benner began working at Bennett Benner Pettit in 1984 and was named Principal and COO in 2001. He oversees daily operations and firm management, focusing on quality control, design and constructability of advanced technology, corporate, institutional and government projects.
Bruce’s expertise also includes specific Corporate Workplace Management and process development for major corporate clients, including strategic planning, budget development, facilities assessments, campus planning and implementation. With over 30 years of experience in architecture, interiors and planning, Mr. Benner has been involved in both privately and publicly funded project endeavors for a variety of client organizations.

David Pettit
With over 17 years of experience, David Pettit oversees economic development and real estate development projects for Bennett Benner Pettit. David focuses on public-private partnerships for medium to large size real estate projects. His efforts include conducting feasibility analyses, contract negotiations and financing mechanisms (i.e., TIF, abatements, rebates) for both public and private sector clients. David’s extensive experience with multifaceted, complex projects provides him with unique insight and creative solutions for complex problems. His previous projects include the successful development and redevelopment of The Tower, Midtown, Montgomery Plaza and West 7th, and corporate headquarters for Radio Shack, Pier 1 Imports and Acme Brick in Fort Worth, and he has both managed and created multiple tax increment reinvestment zones addressing a wide range of issues throughout the state of Texas.
Prior to joining Bennett Benner Pettit in 2003, David worked for Downtown Fort Worth, Inc., the City of San Antonio and the City of Dallas.

Mark Dabney, AIA
An Associate Principal at Bennett Benner Pettit, Mark Dabney has 21 years of architectural and interior design experience. While Mark has served as Project Manager on a wide variety of projects, he currently focuses on corporate and education projects. An active member of the Fort Worth community, Mark is a past President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

R. Gannon Gries, AIA
Gannon has more than ten years of architectural and design experience. His responsibilities include working with owners and design architects to create buildings that are sustainable and innovative while still meeting the project requirements. Gannon has also been involved in programming through construction on multiple projects. He has been a design team member and project architect of a variety of projects in both the private and public sector from ranging from residences, to higher education and corporate. Gannon currently serves on the City of Fort Worth Historical and Cultural Landmarks Commission.

Amanda Schulte, AIA
Amanda has been a part of the Bennett Benner Pettit team since early 2006. Her responsibilities include working with project managers and architects to create schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Amanda also coordinates projects with clients and consulting engineers from the design phases through construction administration. She has been a design team member and job captain of a variety of projects in both the private and public sector.

Stephen Pepper, AICP
Stephen joined the Bennett Benner Pettit planning team with experience in urban planning and real estate. Stephen’s work experience has involved a variety of municipal and private clients in urban planning, economic development and real estate consulting facets. His planning experience ranges from large-scale public projects, such as the Trinity Uptown revitalization, to small scale planning efforts for the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. His combination of urban planning and real estate experience provides unique insight into the role and impact of buildings on surrounding communities.
