Fort Worth, Texas
Gideon Toal provided architectural services
for the complete restoration of the 6,440 square foot 1930’s
Texas & Pacific Railroad Passenger Station Main Waiting Area. Research included field
documentation, comparing existing conditions with original building
blueprints, and chemical analysis of paint layers to determine original
colors. Although many parts of the restoration had to be newly created,
there existed at least one original of each item to use as a model
(grille, wall sconce, etc.).
