This 25,000 square foot recreation facility for the Boys and Girls Club maintains the urban fabric of the street edge to the north, while providing a secure entrance for the occupants on the south side. The facility is spatially centered on a main recreation room, with the supporting functions education, art and home economics rooms and staff offices providing a secure boundary. A full size gymnasium anchors the building to the west.
