Located on a bluff of the Trinity River within eyesight of downtown Fort Worth, the Tarrant Regional Water District Annex is a 26,000 s.f. office building designed for the Water District’s engineering and information technology staff.  With a mission focusing on water supply and flood control, the Water District requested a building that would be energy conscious, promote the well-being of its employees, and blend in with its local surroundings.  Drawing inspiration from the technical nature of the user and the industrial quality of the buildings in the immediate area, the Annex was conceived as clean, environmentally sensitive, utilitarian building.
