TransVISION Tarrant Traffic Management Center and Training Center

Architectural design of the 33,700-SF, 3-story center is driven by good traffic operations management principles. Gideon Toal developed a layout for the central control room that responds to the needs of TxDOT operations personnel. The 3-story control room houses sixteen consoles, view screens, voice communications, and other equipment ergonomically designed to facilitate the operator’s traffic management responsibilities.
