The garden is approximately 7,000 square feet and available to all patients, families and visitors of Harris Methodist Hospital.

The Meditation Garden is conceived as an idealized re-creation of a typical central Texas stream, harking back to pleasant memories that the visitor may have been experienced in such a place. The stream begins above a small waterfall in the northwest corner of the garden, flowing over a small fall into a pond in the southeast corner of the garden.
