Caceria Building

The Caceria Building is inspired by aspects of Beaux-Arts Classicism and Renaissance Revival to create a 21st century building with the feel of a classic 1920s mid-rise. The concrete-frame building is clad in Texas limestone, granite, brick, clay tiles and cast stone exhibiting the exuberance of detail and variety of stone finishes common in early 20th century architectural styles. Colossal columns, projected and recessed elements, enriched moldings, basket-handle arches, and tall parapets allow the Caceria Building to harmonize with the historic downtown Fort Worth fabric and architecture. Also recalling elements of the Art Deco style, geometric ornamentation in contrasting colors is featured at each level, as well as intense colors of terra cotta, deep maroon and pink. The overall scale and massing of the building responds to the immediate urban context, creating a comfortable pedestrian atmosphere and a welcoming street presence.
