Ericsson Village

For Ericsson’s North American headquarters the firm provided architectural services including project oversight for the 38-acre campus which features a 10-acre lake, offices, conference rooms and staff support areas such as dining facilities for 300, a game room, a fitness center and a dry cleaner.

The project incorporated leading-edge design elements to create an environment that captured not only Ericsson’s culture, but also the needs of its organization. Sources of natural light were optimized to enable every employee to have access to daylight. Collaboration is encouraged through numerous teaming spaces, meeting rooms and social hubs.

Branding and corporate identity were infused in all elements, including the color palette and access to wireless technology throughout. The 500,000-square-foot campus for 1,700 of Ericsson’s employees was so successful in encouraging productivity that the company now uses these paradigms of design across all of its facilities worldwide.
