Fort Worth, Texas
This project involved an exterior restoration
and adaptive re-use of two 90-year-old school buildings and construction
of a new third building to complete the urban nature of the site with
a total of 200,000 square feet and 168 dwelling units. The Historic
Hogg Elementary Building was an existing three-story structure converted
into a multi-tenant office building. The Parker Building (Historic
Fort Worth High School / Ernest Parker Middle School) was an existing
five-story structure converted to residential use. This project was
recognized by the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Institute of
Architects with a Merit Award in 2001. |
