Bennett Benner Pettit was engaged by the City of Amarillo to prepare a Downtown Strategic Action Plan. This plan seeks to revitalize the urban core of Amarillo with a variety of public improvements and private investment. This comprehensive master plan included the creation of urban design guidelines, form-based code zoning recommendations, suggestions for infrastructure improvements, public/private financing strategies, implementation strategies, land-use recommendations and public safety resolutions.
Following the creation of the Downtown Strategic Action Plan, Bennett Benner Pettit was hired to implement the Downtown TIF and create a citywide economic development plan and policy.
