Trinity River Vision Neighborhood and Recreation Enhancement Plan

The purpose of the Trinity River Vision (TRV) Neighborhood and Recreational Enhancement Plan (NREP) is to identify and prioritize recreational and environmental enhancements to the Trinity River greenbelt. Since the completion of the Trinity River Vision Master Plan in 2002, there have been various improvements to the river corridor in Fort Worth: White Settlement, Delga and Riverside trailheads; Trinity Park Loop Trail; Trinity Park white water chutes; and a trail extension to Gateway Park. Beginning in 2007, a committee of staff and consultants began to gather input, ideas and priorities from citizens of Fort Worth, users of the river and outdoor enthusiasts to further improve the greenbelt.
